Now I don't expect this car to give my ST a run for its money, but I am intrigued that Kia is supposedly taking this hatch a bit more seriously in terms of performance. It has the same turbo engine that's in the Veloster and apparently it's a decent handler, too (for a Kia).

No steering feel unfortunately, like most Korean vehicles. However, the 1.6L is a damn decent engine. I'm not sure of the weight difference between the Veloster Turbo and Forte5, but I assume the latter has a few hundred pounds on top.

It's got about the same amount of power as the current GTI, so why not?
